Biomatics - novel bioreactor generation

This project want to develop a new generation of single-use bioreactor which should facilitate the first stages of a production process for products such as recombinant proteins for therapeutic purposes.

Briefly, this new type of bioreactor should make it possible to go from 30ml to several liters of cell cultures without changing the system and limiting manipulations that could induce contamination. The industrial application of this bioreactor would be at the start of production processes – from the thawing of cell vials to the inoculation of production bioreactors. Furthermore, an application for protein production for research and development activities is envisaged.
