Demo plant PET valorization
The objective of the project is to develop and set-up a continuous 10 kg PET plastic plant to add value to regional available waste resources.
In perspective to the importance of moving to a more resilient and sustainable society, the circular economy aspects of this project will contribute to value other local resources and show the way to deploy more circular economy's related projects. Actually, traceability of the PET collected, especially thanks to digital support, should allow to split the corresponding environmental impact (CO, emission reduction) to the place where the resource was collected. This approach will open the door to a regional sharing of CO, emission's reduction, attributing the effective reduction to the point of collect of the resource.
This intercompany cooperation between Artelia, the UTO Central Waste Management Plant and Depoly aims at realizing the small scale continuous plant, that represents a decisive milestone on the way to commercialization and economic viability demonstration to convince the industry and investors.
