The overall ambition of the project is to determine the potential for a strategic aviation cluster in Valais, to define the steps required to realise this potential and to provide initial impetus with targeted pilot projects.

A first targeted pilot project, based on the AeroMini provided by Dufour Aerospaace, is that of a BVLOS enabled small tilt-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) platform. Together with various project partners, a new value creation system is to be developed around this platform, which will enable a small series production and test flight campaign. Customers and users will also be integrated into this value creation system with other regional partners in order to co-develop new value-added services.
