SECure : Safe & Explainable Clinical AI for Orthopaedic Surgical Assessment
Design a safe and explainable ML-based system that supports a qualified physician to decide whether or not a "Rotator Cuff Repair" (RCR) is indicated fora given patient.
The specific objective of this project is to be to develop a first prototype of artificial intelligence in order to make the proff of concept (POC) and to validate thepredictive concept of the relevance of the use of shoulder surgery in cases already identified by the project leaders. Before developing the functional prototype, it is necessary to test the reliability of the first Al algorithms in this POC.
Med4Cast contributesto strengthen the Digital Health axis and the SMART Conflence ecosystem. By integrating the incubator and developing strong interactions with some actors of the ecosystem, the project will allow to enhance the expertise and offer new opportunities to the stakeholders of the digital health value chain in Valais.
The project partners are MED4CAST, Idiap, HUG, CIRD RAD-X and Kisano Suisse.
